Leak Detection

  1. Problem 1: Falling or Cracking

Tile leaks can weaken the ground around a pool, causing cracks or shifting tiles.
  2. Problem 2: Dirt or Air Blown into Pool

Leaks in the plumbing system can pull in air or dirt, which can get blown into the pool through the returns.
  3. Problem 3: Change in Water Level
A dropping water level is a clear sign of a leak, but it’s important to rule out evaporation.
  4. Problem 4: Water Around Equipment

Corrosion or standing water near the pump or pipes often signals a pool leak.
  5. Problem 5: Rising Water Bills

If your autofill runs nonstop or your water bill jumps up unexpectedly, it may be time to check for a pool leak.
  6. Problem 6: Wet Areas in Yard

Soggy spots or uneven grass growth near the pool could indicate a plumbing leak.
  7. Problem 7: Excess Chemical Usage

Needing more chemicals than usual may signal a leak, as fresh water entering the pool can disrupt chemical balance.
